UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel to USC: LA football monopoly is over

UCLA hired embattled coach Rick Neuheisel to take over the Bruins and to rebuild them into a legit program. He's started off well, luring away former USC and Tennessee Titans O-Coordinator Norm Chow and not backing down from the obvious challenges of rebuilding UCLA when USC is raping LA for every recruit. However, he may have overstepped his bounds today after purchasing an ad in the LA Times newspaper saying "The Football monopoly in LA is officially OVER". This is a direct shot at Pete Carroll and USC, and as much as I hate the Trojans, this may be a bit premature for UCLA because I'll be surprised if they even finish .500 this season. I'm supportive of what Neuheisel is trying to do to change the culture at UCLA, but they can't compete with USC yet.

	If Cal could actually play our game against SC, and UCLA and Oregon continue to improve then it will happen. Until then, I don't see the Trojans getting knocked off the top of the Pac-10...as much as that sucks

	Hate doesn't begin to capture the emotion I have for UCLA. As a Cal fan, I realize now that the Golden Bears are obsolete, but UCLA is still worse than Cal and we're 5 steps below USC. What is Neuheisel thinking? Calling out USC is not a good idea. USC will drub the Bruins to make up for last year. Meanwhile, Cal will continue to find new depths of disappointment.

	Whoa there buddy, don't be so down on your team this season. Yea we're not predicted to do all that great, but how many times have the predictions been right about us anyway. We tanked last season, but this is a new one and I'm not expecting to beat USC or anything, but I think we could put together a nice run. UCLA is going to be at the bottom though, I completely agree with that.

	UCLA is going to be at the bottom of the Pac-10, as Jim Rome put it yesterday "USC is the Lakers, UCLA is the Clippers", they're still the b*tch of LA.

	Too funny. If anyone is going to the Sanford game, check this out: http://usctrain.org. It's a USC alumni/fan trip that takes the Coast Starlight train to an away game every year. It's a ton of fun, very luxurious, and totally worth it. Hopefully I'll see you there! FIGHT ON!

	"...USC is raping LA for every recruit." Please, with your command of the English language, choose another word other than rape. Rape is a crime, everyone knows this--football isn't.
